Short answers, with the page to read next

FAQ

Questions we are asked

What is Bahlul SI, in one sentence?

A private assistant that answers questions from your own documents, in Bangla and English, shows the page each answer came from, and runs on a server you own. See the product.

What does SI mean?

SI stands for Super Intelligence, Bahlul World's name for everything it sells. The name is ours; the claims are plain. Bahlul SI finds, answers, summarises and shows the source. It can give a wrong answer, which is why every answer shows its page and a named person approves anything that matters.

Does our data leave Bangladesh?

No, not by default. Bahlul SI runs on one GPU server in your building or in a Bangladesh data centre. Nothing goes abroad unless you decide it should. Two of our founders live abroad; they work on designs, code and test results, and see client data only with your written consent. See security and data.

Does it work when the internet is down?

Yes. Staff ask and get answers over your own network, so a day without internet is an ordinary day. Only updates from us, remote support and other sites depend on the link. See built for local conditions.

What happens in a power cut?

An online UPS carries the server through short cuts and shuts it down cleanly if the power stays off, so nothing is corrupted. The Company configuration adds a generator. The acceptance test includes a power cut and a restart.

Does it read scanned pages and mixed Bangla and English?

Yes, and both are tested. The Bangla test bench has a category for scanned pages where scanning broke letters or lines, and one for mixed Bangla and English, including Bangla typed in Latin letters. Your own documents set the questions. See the test bench.

How do we know the answers are right?

You check, and so do we. Every answer shows its source page. Before go-live, Bahlul SI is scored on about 200 questions from your documents by two native Bangla reviewers against a pass mark you approve; we propose 85% on critical questions and no critical failures. We publish no accuracy figure that your own test has not produced.

What does it cost to start?

BDT 1 lakh for a half-day SI briefing with a live demo on your sample documents. Then BDT 5.5 lakh for a three-week SI proof. A server set-up is from BDT 14 lakh, plus the hardware you buy. All prices are proposals for 2027, before VAT. See the price list.

Do we have to buy a server, and what does it cost?

Yes, from your own supplier; we specify it and check it. Indicative 2026 prices, before duty and VAT: Team, one 32 GB card, up to about 50 users, BDT 12 to 15 lakh; Department, one 48 GB data-centre card, a few hundred users, BDT 17 to 22 lakh; Company, two 96 GB cards, 1,000 or more users, BDT 55 to 65 lakh. Ask your supplier for a fresh quote. See servers.

How long does it take?

Half a day for the briefing, three weeks for the proof, six to eight weeks for a server set-up once your hardware arrives, and ten to twelve weeks for a larger pilot. See how we work.

Can we stop after a step?

Yes. Each step has its own fixed price and stands on its own. Stop after any step and keep what you paid for: the briefing notes, the test set, the scored report, the business case. The proof itself can recommend stopping.

Who runs it after go-live?

Either your IT team, with SI support from us at BDT 90,000 a month: monitoring, tested updates, a monthly health check and a help desk. Or we run it under managed SI operations at BDT 1.8 lakh a month, with a monthly Bangla re-test. Either way your team is trained, with written procedures.

Are there per-user fees?

No. Our prices are fixed per step and per month, whether 50 people use Bahlul SI or 500. The server you buy sets the practical limit, and the proof's load test confirms the number of users it can serve.

What about the Personal Data Protection Act 2026?

The Act sets duties of consent, notice, security and breach notice for anyone holding personal data, with a regulator and fines (confirm the details with counsel). The first phase of a Bahlul SI set-up uses policies, manuals and circulars, not personal data. When personal data comes in, the Data add-on prepares it: which documents SI may read, who may see them, and the records the Act asks for.

Do you have clients or references yet?

No. Bahlul World is a company in formation, with no clients, no installed server and no certifications. The case studies are reference designs built on published projects by other organisations, and they say so. What we can offer is a live demo on your own documents and a scored proof before you buy anything.

Which documents should we start with?

Ten that are not confidential and that your staff search every day: published policies, a product handbook, circulars, SOPs. One workflow, not the whole organisation. See start.

A question we have not answered?

Ask it on the first call. It is free, in Bangla or English, and it ends with a plain yes, no or not yet.
